Annual Stewardship Campaign

The annual stewardship campaign is a focused time in the life of the church when the congregation, individually and collectively, is encouraged to develop the joy-filled spiritual gift of generous giving. During this time the congregation is asked to reflect on all the ministries, programs and blessings the church provides and to prayerfully consider the requisite financial needs of the church by pledging a percentage giving or tithing for the upcoming year. Contributing to FUMC is in response to God's love and is a concrete expression of faith and commitment to Christ and His Church.

The Stewardship campaign occurs in the fall so that the amount of pledged contributions can be anticipated and factored into the church budget. However, pledges can be received and are welcome throughout the year. If you haven't yet submitted your Giving Card and would like to do so now, please contact the Church office (805-687-6307).

All registered givers will be sent offering envelopes in which to submit their contributions. FUMC has another option that may be more convenient - Online Giving - which allows for authorized, automatic transfer of designated funds from a giver's checking or saving account. For more information on this method of giving, go to Online Giving.
